Hamilton Wayzgoose ‘23
Conference Event Branding
Wayzgoose, hosted by the Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum, is an annual conference celebrating letterpress, bringing together designers, typographers, and printers from across the country.
For this project, I designed a series of event merchandise, including a lanyard, translating the conference identity into tactile, functional pieces rooted in type and print culture.
Inspired by the Hamilton Wayzgoose Museum’s 2020 goose designs, I redesigned the goose with added character through expressive wings and refined details. A bold swash typeface adds elegance, pairing well with Hamilton’s Unit Gothic and Aetna fonts. The 2020 event number is integrated into the identity, with warm red and yellow tones used to convey energy, enthusiasm, and sophistication.
